In order to answer my first question I would like to say that YES ethical leadership will always pay off in the long run as it is the base and the roots of every person and business. To be ethical is, to be honest, moral and disciplined.

The word ethics is resultant from the Greek word ethos, referring to a person's primary orientation toward life. The Latin conversion of ethos is "mos, moris," from which comes the English statement moral. In Roman times, the emphasis shifted from internal character to overt activities - acts, lifestyle, and customs. Ethical behavior is what all career people should aim to have. Not just the ethical attributes but the exceptional behavior in this regard. This is because to build a career, you must be governed by rules of ethics to safeguard you and others.

Different organizations have an ethical code of behavior. Over and above this, different professions have ethics codes that are not to be violated. The main definition of ethics is that it is a philosophy which seeks to uphold various fundamental issues that mainly address morality and so on. There are many things that you can gain from having good behavioral ethics in the workplace.

Leaders must understand the subject of ethics - what it is and why it is important. Ethics is the branch of values concerned with the goal, means, and penalty of moral behavior. It is the study of moral decision and right and wrong conduct.
