Rapid process of development of the country has resulted in the huge and enormous amount of waste. The large quantity of waste produced would finally become the largest source of environmental pollution and health hazard. There are many ways that have been done to treat the environment from pollution. One of the alternatives that has been the choice of many people is towards green living. In this following report, how waste heat can be used as the source of green technology will be discussed. Besides that, things like how heat is generated from kinds of waste, the advantages and the disadvantages of using waste heat will be covered.
Today, the world is now facing a crucial problem that is not only harm the people, it even become the harm to the environment. With a rapid and continuously process of industrialization, globalization, development of lands, and other human activities that never think about the globe, pollution is taking place simultaneously. Production of waste is increasing day by day at a rate of 2 to 5 percent due to these irresponsible human activities.
The production of waste has now become the major problem to all countries. What is waste actually? The basic and easiest definition of waste is, it is something of unwanted or undesired materials or substances. Waste could be anything that we longer have no interest in it due to defects, spoilt, break down and other many reasons. We tend to throw them without thinking of the sequences that the world is going to face. Generally, waste can be categorized into four main components which are urban waste, industrial waste, biomass waste and biomedical waste.
The components of urban waste include municipal solid waste, sewage waste, and fecal sludge waste. For industrial waste, there are two types of them which are hazardous and non- hazardous waste. Biomass waste will be the kinds of waste which can be so called organic which will decompose into the soil to produce decomposed fertilizers. On the other hand, biomedical waste is the waste from the clinical purposes which is mainly contributed from the clinical and medical industry.
Once heat is generated from the waste, the heat or can also be called as heat energy is needed to generate electricity to be used to run those household applications, electronic devices and etc. heat energy that is produced from this resource is much cheaper to compare with the electricity generated from the natural resources.
Heat produced from the waste that supply the technology to run efficient and competent life in the modern world is what we called the green technology. Green technology can be defined as the environmentally friendly technology which does not disturb the environment and it conserves the natural resources as well. It is also being referred as a clean technology which in sense does not change the meaning of green technology itself. We are now going towards a technology which do not harm the Mother Nature and deplete the natural resources.
To treat waste heat as something beneficial for the sake of the Mother Nature and mankind.

To determine the thermoelectric material used in heat-energy conversion.
From the introduction part, it is stated that urban waste constitutes of municipal solid waste, sewage and sewage sludge, and fecal sludge waste. Among these three, the municipal solid waste is commonly used to convert the heat produced from the waste treatment process to generate electrical power or electricity.
