Nowadays, environmental issues are such a popular topic to be discussed among public. It has been created awareness for society to take correction action towards it. Everyday, people are making decisions which will harm the environment, for example are global warming, pollution and other environmental issues.
The major factors that cause those environmental issues happen are construction people's practices in their workplace. The workplace as mentioned are buildings which are needed to release more heat and consume more energy compared to residential building. There is always a question by the society, are the workplaces really needed to be overheat? However, it can be improve by minimizing the office consumables use. On the other hand, it also can be improve by putting efforts on recycle the wastage that had been produced.
At last, there is a new trend to introduce in building construction to minimize the impact which is green building. Green building is functioned by using energy, water and some related materials. It is more efficient and effective than the traditional buildings. Introduction of green building is not only enhancing the health but also contribute on saving our planet.1.1 BACKGROUND
In November 5, 2004 Press Release announcing the findings of Boston's Green Building Task Force Report, Mayor Thomas Menino stated "Green building is good for your wallet. It's good for the environment. And it's good for people..." Green buildings are those environmental friendly building with the criteria reduced or zero consumption of energy or natural resources. (Thomas M. Menino, 2004)
The benefits of green building to the organizations and individuals who inhabit them are the subject of increasing attention and research. Green building strategies have been linked to gains in occupant comfort, health and productivity, as well as to organizational success improved quality of work life, enhanced relationships with stakeholders, enhanced community livability, and the ability to market to pro-environmental consumers (Heerwagen 2000).
Green buildings also have the potential to shape and reinforce organizational culture, through imbuing values and beliefs around the human connection to nature and sustainable patterns of living, offering greater personal control and responsibility to occupants to shape their immediate environment, and fostering a collective sense of responsibility and pride for the organization and building (Cole et al., 2008).
The green building is moving into mainstream, office buildings are now incorporating "green" into the workplace in much more subtle and integrated ways. The contemporary workplace is expected to provide a whole host of benefits including reassuring atmosphere, compensation for the abstraction of work, protection of workers from stress, unification of the organization expression of organizational values, motivation and mobilization of staff, promotion of sociability and cooperation, and reflection of company's desired image (Collard and DeHerde, 2001).

Green office has developed recommendations addressing the following problem statement: How can the Green Office position and structure itself, so that it can minimize its impact across workplace?
The employees who mobile from buildings with poor indoor environmental quality to healthier green buildings may get some benefits, including reduced absenteeism and higher productivity. The absenteeism of employee may be having personal illness such as asthma, allergies, depression and stress-related conditions due to traditional buildings did not design to improve indoor environment as well, making it more healthy and pleasantly for those who work there through lighting, ventilation, acoustics and ergonomic design.
