Designing A Fridge With Digital Systems Computer Science

Digital Fridge Plc (DF) is considering to design a new fridge having digital systems along with an interactive interface built into it. The Company is well aware that the competitor had previously attempted to market a similar product based on a windows 98 interface. But was not successful all because of lack of user and task analysis as explained by analysts.

I have been placed by DF to provide them:

· A review of the current standards and procedures available for analysing similar digital

product designs.

· Modelling the users, and the usage scenarios for the digital fridge system.

· Producing a list of requirements, both functional and non-functional based on the previous

analysis.

· Produce an initial sketch of the design of interface on the system, so that the same can be used
